CAPE TRAVEL GUY -TOUR BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Booking & Confirmation
    All tour bookings must be confirmed in writing via email, website booking form, or messaging service.

A booking is considered confirmed only once a deposit or full payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by the company.

All tours are subject to availability at the time of booking.

  1. Payment Policy

To provide flexibility for guests, the following payment options are available:

Option 1 – Two-Part Payment (tours 1-2 days long)
• 50% deposit required to confirm the booking.
• Remaining 50% balance reflecting in our account no later 48 hours before the tour date.

Option 2 – Three-Part Payment (tours 3 days or longer)
• 30% deposit at booking confirmation
• 40% payment due at agreed halfway date on calendar to tour date
• 30% final balance reflecting in our account no later than 48 hours before the tour

Option 3 – Last-Minute Bookings
For bookings made within 48 hours of the tour, full payment is required to confirm the reservation.

Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer (EFT), card payment, or other agreed payment methods.

  1. Cancellation Policy

If a confirmed booking is cancelled by the guest, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 7 days before the tour: Full refund of payments made.
    • 3 – 7 days before the tour: 50% of the tour price will be charged.
    • Less than 48 hours before the tour: 100% cancellation fee applies.
    • No-show on the day of the tour: No refund will be issued.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or message.

  1. Changes or Amendments

Guests may request changes to the tour date or itinerary at least 48 hours before the tour, subject to availability.

Additional charges may apply if the requested changes involve extra services, activities, or entrance fees.

  1. Company Cancellation

The company reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify a tour due to circumstances such as:

  • Severe weather conditions
    • Safety concerns
    • Unforeseen operational issues

In such cases, guests will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or
    • The option to reschedule the tour for another available date.
  1. Tour Itinerary & Timing

Tour routes, stops, and timing may be adjusted due to traffic conditions, weather changes, operational requirements, or guest safety considerations.

The company will always aim to provide an experience of equal value and quality.

  1. Personal Responsibility

Guests participate in tours at their own risk. The company will not be responsible for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
    • Injuries or incidents beyond the company’s reasonable control

Guests are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance.

  1. Entrance Fees & Extras

Unless specifically stated in the tour description, entrance fees, meals, optional activities, and personal expenses are not included in the tour price.

  1. Punctuality

Guests are responsible for being ready at the agreed pickup time and location.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened tour experience or cancellation without refund if the tour cannot proceed.
