We’ll travel along the N2, passing the charming town of Somerset West before crossing the Hottentots Holland Mountains via the scenic Sir Lowry’s Pass, with sweeping views over the peninsula. From there we continue through the lush Elgin Valley, known as South Africa’s “Apple Kingdom,” pausing at a popular farm stall for coffee before descending to the coast.

In Hermanus we’ll enjoy a relaxed stroll along the famous Hermanus Cliff Path, breathing the town’s celebrated “champagne air” and often spotting Southern Right Whale during whale season (June–Dec). We’ll explore the character-filled village on foot, browse local markets and boutiques, and enjoy a light lunch by the water’s edge.

After lunch we’ll drive past the beautiful beaches before visiting a few wineries in the renowned Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. As the afternoon light softens, we’ll stop for a panoramic photo before returning along the spectacular Clarence Drive, a breathtaking coastal route overlooking the deep blue ocean.
